YouTube Series

The key success with any YouTube Series is to come up with a formula that is easily repeatable and achievable within the delivery period. Another key to success is having an in-depth knowledge of how YouTube’s algorithm works and the back end of YouTube to ensure the success of your video.

Retro Boat

Sailing Anarchy

Retro boat started with an idea to make an MTV cribs style video and apply that to Sailboats. Each episode had our host Scot Tempesta, who has a vast knowledge of a variety of sailboats and sailing, give a tour of the boat. This was achieved with a small crew of two shooters and one editor. We kept the production value high with drones, gimbals and cinema style shooting. Each episode took us about 2-3 hours to shoot and 2-3 days to edit. We released a video every monday for 32 weeks straight.

Shebbie’s Live Life Series

Shebbie Jaques

This series was built around the idea of accompanying a documentary with a searchable YouTube series. Shebbie Jacques wanted to document her life story as well as a year of traveling around the world to overcome personal fears and hardships. Because we were traveling to film the documentary, it also made sense to edit a YouTube series that highlighted more in depth pieces of her journey. The Live Life Series was a travel docu series which required international logistics, planning and resources from equipment transport, team management, and securing around the world permits to film globally.

Life On The Road

Maggie Hicks

Maggie Hicks is a team member of ours who had a dream to hit all four corners of the US on a motorcycle. To support her efforts we created a 5-minute promotional video to get the attention of potential sponsors. From that video, we gained the attention of Harley Davidson which in turn sponsored her with a new bike to film and travel on for 3 weeks of her journey. We were limited on budget and could not follow her for the trip so as part of a challenge to ourselves we set her up with a variety of compact equipment and a couple of outlines to create videos on the go. She sent back footage and we edited the videos from San Diego.
