YouTube Series

Since April 2020 we started a youtube series with Sailing Anarchy called “Retro Boat”. We grew the channel from zero subscribers starting in april to over 1700 in October. Each Monday we release a Retro boat and have consistently done so for 13 weeks as of October. We took time during covid to understand how youtube works and now can prove our abilities. Retro Boat is kind of like MTV “Cribs” but with older sailboats. We came up with the concept, film and edit every episode ourselves.

Steadicam work

This was one of the bigger projects I did some steadicam work on. This demonstrates a one take which is incredibly difficult to pull off. The DP wanted a flowing less than perfect look that you don’t get from a gimbal.

Transpac 2019

This is the final video I did after the 2019 Transpac. Gamble was a tough boat to film on and I learned a lot from this experience. Over all it was a success and was very positively received by the sailing community.

Shebbie’s live life series

For two years I traveled around the world documenting Shebbie’s live life experience. The web series has been nominated in film festivals for best web series. This series will be released late September 2019.

For this project I donated the use of my Sony Venice camera for the low light scenes. I also worked as the gimbal operator in this project.
